11/10 stars for The Southern Gentleman!! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. The entire menu of elevated Southern dishes sounded delish, but we got the shrimp and grits, short rib, mac n cheese, and fried green tomatoes. I’ve tried many shrimp and grits and this might have been my favorite rendition. The charred tomato butter was insane, so flavorful, and paired with pimento cheese grits...SO good! The short rib was tender and the mac n cheese was also really flavorful and creamy. The fried green tomatoes were delicious, the peach jam really made them stand out. Shannon was our waitress and she was so personable and really offered true Southern hospitality! She was an amazing waitress. She brought us a mini sweet potato pie for dessert...I don’t even really like pie and I would order it again! The whipped cream was so good and the pie had a great spice and crust to it. We will definitely be back!

I went here for a first date recently. I can say without a doubt this is one of the more upscale places I've been to. A real suit-and-tie type of restaurant. Which was exactly what I was looking for. The food was amazing, and the fact someone was nice enough to even give me and my date a free glass of champagne after we let them know it was a first date. So I can definitively say I enjoyed the food and the overall service as well as the staff. I highly recommend this place.

One of the best meals I’ve had at a restaurant in such a long time. The service was fantastic. The hostess, Hayyah, gave great recommendations as did the server, Kenny. Both were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The shishito peppers and pork belly apps were so good. And don’t get me started on the Short Ribs and the Fried Chicken were out of this world. Collards were delicious. Everything was so goooooooood!!! Thank you Michaela for coming by and checking up on us. You were great, when it comes to being a manager, I can tell you’re one of the good ones. I also appreciate your suggestions. We might see you again for lunch.

The food is absolutely delicious, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients and Southern-inspired flavors. One thing to note: take your time to review the menu carefully before ordering. Some of the descriptions might not be entirely straightforward if you’re unfamiliar with the Southern-style dishes, so it’s a good idea to read through it or ask the staff for recommendations — they are happy to help! I absolutely loved the steak, which was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and tender. The potatoes were a perfect side, buttery and comforting. The oysters were incredibly fresh and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The seafood here is top-notch, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. If you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy Southern cuisine with a bit of an upscale twist, The Southern Gentleman is a must-visit. Delicious food, fresh seafood, and a beautiful atmosphere — highly recommended! I’ll definitely be coming back!

First timer at this restaurant. Attire at dinner was upscale, classy, cute, comfy and sophisticated. great night spent with the girls. Drinks and food were reasonably priced. Half chicken was delicious and the mac & cheese is hands down one of the best items on the menu. Strawberry lemon drop was strong and smooth for only 11. Great vibes and atmosphere, will be back in the day time.

The service, food and ambiance at this restaurant is great. They have an indoor/outdoor patio overlooking a courtyard in a high end shopping district that is great to just chill and have some nice cocktails and conversations too. The food is elevated southern cuisine that may not be too healthy but has amazing taste. There are healthier options, but I’d rather eat the other stuff!

The customer service here is unmatched! My family and I were visiting from New York and came to check this place out, and we were not disappointed in the slightest. Please believe all of the positive reviews as they are right! We were greeted by Michaela who is the manager where she then sat us & we were then served & taken care of by Ms.Keesh who was phenomenal!! Not only did they excel and customer service, but the food was amazing! I wish I lived in the area. I would be a regular here. I want to thank you all for your beautiful southern hospitality! You all gave my twin sister and I a moment we’ll never forget.

The food was amazing. Shannon was very knowledgeable about the menu :. She will give you a run down of all the best options , the mini details and best wine options ..the sweet potato cornbread was amazing so good.. we had salad with jumbo shrimp , the macaroni is amazing ,, the pork chop was succulent , tender.. so good .. the environment was nice .. loved everything. The assistant manager Mikaela was engaging and checked on us .
